A couple of months after its debut in China, the Redmi Note 14 series is on its way to India. The company has revealed the Note 14 launch date via the Redmi India Instagram handle. This time the India launch is in December, which is earlier than it took for the Note 13 series to launch in our country. Nevertheless, here’s everything we expect the new Note lineup to bring:

Redmi India has been teasing the launch for the last few days. Now finally, the company has disclosed the Note 14 series India launch date to be December 9th, 2024 via its official broadcast channel on
Redmi claims the phone to have advanced AI features and game-changing camera innovations. Even the phone’s tagline reads, “Super Camera Super AI“.
Redmi Note 14 series specifications (expected)
Display:
The Redmi Note 14 lineup comes with 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED displays. The Pro models offer more brightness and resolution.
Software:
Inside, there is Android 14-based HyperOS. Let’s see whether Redmi ships the Indian variants with Android 14 like the Chinese models or Android 15.
Processor:
The Note 14 has 6nm Dimensity 7025 Ultra, the Note 14 Pro has 4nm Dimensity 7300 and the Pro+ model has 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3.
Cameras:
Although the main sensors on all three appear to have a 50-megapixel size, the sensors are different. The Pro+ is an upgrade and has a telephoto zoom sensor which the other two don’t. Both Pros have an ultrawide shooter which the vanilla variant doesn’t. The new lenses are residing within a squircle camera island on all three.
Battery:
The Plus also has a bigger 6,200mAh battery with 90W charging support. Both Pro and regular Note 14 sports 45W charging speed only and their battery sizes are also smaller.
Redmi Note 14 series pricing
There is no news or rumour about the Redmi Note 14 series India pricing, but in China, the Note 14 started at RMB 1,199 (around Rs 14,300), the Note 14 Pro started at RMB 1499 (around Rs 17,900), and the Note 14 Pro+ started at RMB 1,999 (about Rs 23,900). We can speculate the pricing to be in the same ballpark.
The same tipster has claimed the Note 14 series could go on sale in India between January 10th and 15th, as the Note 13 series also hit the store shelves around the same time a year before.
